Cubs love hands-on projects — and this one makes a lasting impact. In this session, they’ll build their very own wooden bird box using a laser-cut slot-together kit. Once finished, the boxes can be hung outdoors to provide real shelter for garden birds.

Along the way, Cubs learn about nesting habits, how to care for wildlife, and why safe habitats are so important. Each Scout can personalise their bird box with pens or paint, and then use the included bird spotting sheet to track which visitors arrive first.

Perfect for linking creativity with nature and conservation — and giving Cubs something they can proudly take home and use.

Each kit is designed to run a full session for 10 Cubs:
